Warranty Information
LANOPTIK warrants all products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the life of the instrument. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse or misuse, repairs or alterations performed by other than authorized LANOPTIK repair technicians, or damage occurring in transit or caused by parts lost or which fail due to accident, fire, theft, chemicals or acts of nature or war.
Any camera products are warranted from date of purchase as follows: 1 year. The warranty does not cover cables, power adapters, micrometers, or add-on accessories such as SD USB memory card that are not built into the camera as an integral part of original manufacture.
Any Software products are warranted from date of purchase as follows: 2 years.
Other than set forth above, LANOPTIK hereby disclaims all warranties, express or implied, or fitness for a particular purpose. Please note that all sales of products that are special-ordered on behalf of customers are final.
No returns of such special-ordered products will be accepted and no refunds can be made. For warranty service, you must contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within five (5) days after the occurrence of the defect.
The item should be well packed to avoid damage in transit, accompanied by a description of the issue, return instructions and shipped postage prepaid to the address specified when you call. LANOPTIK will repair or replace at no charge and return postage prepaid. If the issue was caused by misuse, alterations, accident or abnormal conditions of operation, an estimate for repairs will be submitted for approval prior to work being performed.
